There is swelling in the first weeks after surgery. Swelling heals by 70-80% in 3 months. Details become clearer. It takes 1 year for the nose to take its full shape.
- From what age are nasal aesthetic surgeries performed?
Rhinoplasty operations can be performed from the age of 17 for women and 18 for men.
- Can the nose tip of thick-skinned skin be pointed? Or will it be rounded over time?

- When is cartilage removed during revision surgery?

The swelling is not very much. The first 2 months pass 80% of the swelling. It takes 1 year for the nose to settle completely.
- Is there too much bruising after the operation? Does this situation vary according to skin structure?
Usually, it is very little. There are also situations where there is no bruise. People with thin skin structure and light-skinned people can be seen more bruising. However, bruising is very rare in the techniques we use.
- When do you call for control after surgery?
We give our patients a control appointment for the tampon on the 3rd day after the operation and the plaster on the 7th day. Then we want to see you in the 2nd, 6th, and 1st year of the surgery.
- When do you take off the bandages?
We remove the bandages in the first week of the operation.
- Are tampons used in surgeries?
When we correct the cartilage curvature in the nose, we use a small silicone. When we take it out, you don’t feel pain.
- How many hours does the surgery take?
Operation times vary between 1 and a half hours and 2 and a half hours.
- How many days do I have to rest?
We recommend that you rest for 1 week to 10 days after surgery.
- Can I go abroad directly after the operation?
We recommend our patients to stay in Istanbul for 7 days. After the control, this date is determined clearly.
- I am afraid of general anesthesia. Is it possible to be operated without general anesthesia?
Unfortunately, it is not possible. We perform the operations under general anesthesia.
